Victorian Enamel Mourning Locket With Interior Hair Panels

Equisite Victorian enamel memorial locket which opens to reveal two woven hair interior panels. This piece really pulls at the heart strings. The front of the locket is black enamel with gold motif and black enamel meander border.  The gold filled back of the locket is beautifully engraved with a foliage design. The inside panels have woven hair and are in excellent condition. Locket closes securely. There are no hallmarks on this piece. The enamel on the front of locket has some scratching and may have had small repairs.
